APTO-253 inhibits c-Myc expression, stabilizes G-quadruplex DNA, and induces cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in acute myeloid leukemia cells. APTO-253 mediates anticancer activity through the induction of the KLF4 tumor suppressor.
