Bioactivity:
Picoplatin has a broad spectrum of antineoplastic activity and is designed to overcome platinum drug resistance. Picoplatin alkylates DNA, forming both intra- and inter-strand cross-linkages, resulting in the inhibition of DNA replication and transcription, and the induction of apoptosis.
