Description:
The MESACUP™ BP230 TEST has recombinant protein of both N-terminus and C-terminus of BP230 as solid phase and measures anti-BP230 autoantibodies in patient serum. Anti-BP180 is thought to be the pathogenic autoantibody, however, not all BP patients have anti-BP180 antibody in their serum. Anti-BP230 antibody is considered to be a useful serologic marker of the disease.
