Product Description:
Marine cembranoid diterpene. Anticancer agent. Inhibits in vivo skin carcinogenesis induced by NOR-1 and TPA. Decreases membrane permeability towards Ca2+, increases degradation of PLA and PLC and decreases levels of COX-2, inhibiting the tumor formation in melanoma models. Cell migration inhibitor in selected cancer cell lines. May be a phosphofructokinase inhibitor. Acetylcholine esterase and ATPase inhibitor. Ichthyotoxin. Tumorigenesis and JB6 cell transformation inhibitor.
