RFP2 antibody can be used for detection of RFP2 by ELISA at 1:12500. RFP2 antibody can be used for detection of RFP2 by western blot at 2.5 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
The protein encoded by RFP2 is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to cytoplasmic bodies near the nucleus, but its function is unknown. RFP2 is located on chromosome 13 within the minimal deletion region for B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
