Bioactivity:
Ianalumab (vAY-736) is a decarboxylated humanized antibody against BAFF-R. Ianalumab can inhibit the interaction between BAFF and BAFF-R and inhibit the protection of apoptosis mediated by BAFF. Ianalumab has antibody dependent cytotoxicity (ADCC) and works by activating effector cells mediated by the immune receptor tyrosine activation motif (ITAM).
