Commonly, Europium W1024 ITC serves as a donor fluorophore in time-resolved fluorescence resonance energy transfer (TR-FRET) applications, offering the advantage of a prolonged measurement window for observing acceptor fluorescence and minimizing autofluorescence interference through its extended emission lifetime.
