(+)-Menthyl acetate, extracted from the essential oil of Cunila angustifolia Benth, exhibits selective cytotoxicity, demonstrating higher efficacy against the MCF-7 cell line with an IC50 of 34.0 ug/mL and lower efficacy against the SK-Mel-28 cell line, where the IC50 is 279.9 ug/mL, when tested on A549 cells without fatal consequences [1].
